Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling in Godalming, Woking and Guildford

I am a qualified and experienced BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor. As a member of the BABCP and BACP, I abide by its Ethical Framework, this requires me to continue professional and personal development, and my work is monitored to ensure clinical excellence, whilst maintaining complete client anonymity. I hold professional indemnity insurance and I have an up-to-date criminal record check conducted by the Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Employee Assistance Programme, Health Insurance Providers and Practitioner Health Programme

Alongside my private practice, I am currently working as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapist, within Practitioner Health Programme, an NHS mental health and addiction service for GP's and hospital doctors. I also work for the Employee Assistance Programme and health insurance providers, helping people to deal with anxiety, stress and depression, including work related issues. I provide short term counselling – on and off work site to increase motivation, improve employees’ wellbeing and increase stress awareness to reduce absences.

NHS - High Intensity CBT Therapist

I have worked as a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapist for Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, offering individual therapies to a wide range of health issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, alcohol and substance addiction.

Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) for Addiction

I have been working as a practicing addiction counsellor at Catalyst, providing support for people dealing with the challenges of their drug and alcohol use. These problems can be a response to various past traumas, anxiety and depression. I offer help and assistance to people to make changes, and provide support for their families, carers and friends who may have been affected by the addiction.

Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) working with diversity

I have had the opportunity to provide counselling at a Christian counselling agency, Emmaus. This has given me the experience to offer confidential counselling and psychotherapy services for people who have needed help with personal problems, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, culture or faith.

Experienced GP surgery Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

In the past, I have worked at the local GP Surgery, offering a safe space for people to talk through a range of issues including difficulties with relationships, anxiety, depression, cancer and physical illness.
